Seven tries by Dalziel 1st XV in a 43 points to 10 win at Murrayfield Wanderers took them 9 points clear at the top of National 1. With Whitecraigs not playing and Ellon losing at Langholm there is now a bit of daylight at the top of the league.
The 2nd XV were on the wrong end of a rampant Hawick who racked up 51 points in the first half. Dalziel steadied the ship in the second but ended up losing 71:12.
The 3rd XV returned to winning ways with a 22 points to 5 victory over Garnock at Dalziel Park and the 14 men of the Under 18s, with mostly Under 17s playing, put in a great performance to trounce West of Scotland 27 points to 5.
