Dalziel continued their season with this first round match in the Scottish Hydro Shield 1st Round against the students from Edinburgh.
Dalziel started the game with plenty of possession but the back division looked as if this was their first sight of a rugby ball and made several handling errors. This allowed the University side to get into the game and would have scored if Crawford Reid and Kris Watters had not been excellent in defence.
