Folks, I personally don't understand why anyone would want to leave Dalziel and play for another club, but thats maybe just me!!

As ever it just proves what a good club Dalziel is in terms of developing good players and how in due course it's a club they come back to as per our recent returnees such as Simmo, Goldie and more recently Graham Calder. Every player with ambition SHOULD challenge themselves to experience how far they can go and these days the world is your oyster hence Strainer looking very likely to play in France, and John Harris offered the chance to play in Italy.
The lads who have left us have indeed ALL played valuable parts in our recent successes and indeed we will look forward o them doing well in their chosen clubs (not too well when we play against them!!) and hope they will be looking over their shoulder at our performances too.
I echo Khalid's statement which is basically....... cheerio for now and the best of luck.
