England
Grand Slam

Wales
Lose to England

France
Lose to Ireland and England

Ireland
Beat Italy and France

Scotland (only on points difference from Ireland cause we cant score)
Beat Ireland and Italy

Italy
Loose to everyone but only narrowly to Scotland

I dnt wnt England to do it but they are that bad that they are reminiscent of the RWC final team that lost to SA. Either that or they finish bottom. Plus wanted 2 be different 4rm every1 so I'm either a genious or a fud.

hmmm - if scotland & france win on sunday.

France (loss 1 game but do it on PD)
Scotland (loss in paris, but 4 wins)
Wales (loss heart after scottish defeat - also lose to Ireland)
England (2 wins v Ire + Ita)
Ireland (beat Ita)
Italy (no wins)

Otherwise (more likely):

Wales (but no grand slam - loss narrowly in paris and win 6n on points diff)
France (win all bar irish in dublin)
Scotland (win 3 of 5 lossing to france + wales)
Ireland (2 wins italy + england)
England (1 win v italy)
Italy (0 wins)

What no Strokosch,Evans, and Murray,Hines injured not an ideal start
apparently Hadden has favourites and if you are not one of them tough.
Heres hoping Jason White plays a blinder and proves us all wrong that he is past it.

1 Scotland 2 France 3 Wales 4 Ireland 5 Italy 6 England

What say you ????????

http://www.theherald.co.uk/sport/headli ... to_win.php

"Thom Evans has scored nine tries in all competitions this season. That compares with the combined haul from the selected back-three of Lamont, Webster and Southwell of 10. Hardly an over-powering exhibition of finishing ability."

That's a telling stat - i hope that i'm proven wrong, but i think that we'll struggle to cross the line on sunday!

Hmm... Quite a tough one to call this year!

France
Wales
Ireland
England/Scotland
Scotland/England
Italy

As much as ireland ain't the team they used to be they still have some talent in the side.

France haven't played well the last few years but I think they owe someone a severe gubbin... just hope it's not us!

Bit late for a prediction but on the theme of scotlands chances, just a thought about their preparation for the Wales game . Wondered if people knew that the Scotland team stayed at the Novotel just off the lothian road in the centre of Edinburgh. Clearly Edinburgh on a Saturday night is a busy , noisy place at the best of times and if you add a few thousand sinewy welshmen hanging around street corners singing in close harmony you can see the possibility of disruption before the big game . The other thing is that there were Welsh fans staying at the same hotel - now i am sure they were perfect gentlemen and behaved themselves impeccably - but i wonder what we would have done in london on tour , at the same hotel if the England team were trying to get a restful nights sleep before the Calcutta Cup match . Does not bear thinking about ....

OK changed my mind - even though i've had the advantage of seeing all 6 teams playing i'll go for a prediction
1 Ireland
2 Wales
3France
4 England
5 Scotland
6 Italy

Have to agree with your prediction Davy. I think Ireland have got the game to win the slam now. They were impressive.

I also think England will shock Wales on Saturday. They will grind out a win.
Scotland will put in a better performance, but still lose.
Ireland will destroy Italy.

By the way who is that dashingly handsome rugby player in the avatar - clearly a player with poise balance and great skill - did not realise that a young rob andrew played for dalziel ...........
