Hearts and Heroes

Post by slowie » Thu Dec 03, 2009 11:47 am

Some of you may have heard about the hearts and heroes charity event.

The SRU are getting behing this heavily and rightly so, It is a walk (or run) event in May along the southern upland way finishing at Melrose (greenyards) and this is the second year. The event is a dual charity event for helping servicemen and injured rugby players.

Most of you will not know but I had a friend who was killed in Iraq while on active duty with the RAF so I will be fully supporting this and participating.

I will attempt to run (yes run) the gold leg so come on if you think your hard enough.

Check out the website for more details.
