Fantasy Football - Premier League 2008/2009

Post by barryts » Thu Jul 10, 2008 3:46 pm

Hi All,

Following on from the success of the Euro Fantasy League, I have set up a Premier League 2008/2009 one for the club here - http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ .

The rules are slightly different from the Euro 2008 one for anyone who hasn't used this before so please read the rules etc carefully as players values can change which affects the amount of cash you have to spend, plus the transfers and wildcard work in a different way.

PM me & I will give you the code for the League. Pass the details onto anyone who doesn't use the forum as well guys as the more folk involved the better. 1st gameweek closes at 11.30am on 16th Aug.

Cheers

Barry

I think that means that the recipient hasn't read them yet. It allows you to delete a message before they read it (and also allows you to see if they have read it or not).

I made sure I had plenty Canterbury in my team - a sure recipe for success :D

Should I be concerned that I only have 2 players in the squad that have been selected by over 20% of other teams? :?

Not at all mate, people tend to pick guys that did well last year, but if you do that you run out of cash quick. Try and spot guys that are cheap that will do well as there price will rise and you make more cash by selling them and gets you more chance of picking the big guns later.

Might have known the private school boy would be bringing up the rear. Gotta love Crawford, "Bags being in goals first" is something only a 'proper' boy would say.
