I'll do my best to get some stats on the go soon - but it wont be easy, i honestly dont know who has scored what with the amount of points weve scored the last three weeks, but i will try to find out.

Lack of members on the touchline other that subs and bobby doin the bag leaves nobody to actually record scorers, but will try to sort something out.

My guess is tho that Bart will be top try scorer, followed closely by Lewis & Paton. Top point scorer probs Paton or Lewis with all the goals theyve kicked.

For those who dont know, were playin Fife Lions on sat at bellshill academy, 2.30 kick off, should be a good one, they were the second best in the country last season.

They lost their last game 54-16 to Fife (second place last season). Still got one more game to go (Against Easterhouse), a win will guarantee a play-off spot. If Edinburgh beat Moray, they will be as good as guaranteed second place on points difference (short of Moray putting well over 100 past Jordanhill)

Morays last game is against Paisley, and that will be a close game. And Edinburgh will pump Moray so no worries there.

Basically if we beat Easterhouse, regardless of the margin, we will finish second in the league unless there are some crazy results in other matches.

Then we are in he playoffs and guaraunteed to play in one of the cup finals.

Second in the league and a cup final in our first season = outstanding achievement.

The Carluke Gazzette will love it ha ha.

Saturday 28-JUNE-2008

Easterhouse Panthers v Carluke Tigers

2.30PM Kick Off, Nethercraigs Sports Complex, Corkerhill Road, Glasgow

Lanarkshires finest travel to play the self proclaimed "Team Fae The Scheme" in an attempt to secure second spot in the Scottish Rugby League Conference.

With the league points at stake and recent talk of crowd 'restlessness' at easterhouse this should be one you dont want to miss!

Any details needed give me a shout.

Is it like play offs for the championship?

Yeah dude, thats exactly how it goes. At least 2 games, maybe 3.

first play off will be on july 12th, against edinburgh, not sure of venue tho.

second play off july 19th. if we win 1st game we have a bye. if not we play winner of other round 1 play off.

grand final & shield final on august the 2nd. so were defo in a cup final of some sorts.

once i have definated venue/kick off details i will post them for anyone who fancies coming along.
