Dear all,

We are Clubs for Young People (Scotland) and we are committed to providing young people with the necessary opportunities, support and skills which will enable them to become healthy and confident individuals.

These opportunities are mainly provided through sport and recreational activities. We are actively exploring new and exciting events/activities which your club could be part of and we widely encourage our clubs to put their ideas forward. We aim to provide our members with the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of activities and as such organise events throughout the year for our members.

Currently, our events include pool, snooker, football and golf tournaments, adventure weekends and the opportunity to represent Scotland at football against the other home nations.

We are also one of only six partnership organisations in the country that administer the ‘CashBack for Communities’ Small Grants scheme. Clubs can apply for up to £2,000.00 towards a new activity.

Clubs for Young People (Scotland) are also planning to hold a series of Sports Leadership Awards residential courses whereby young people from the age of 14 can gain a qualification that will help them in their future sporting and professional life.

Our annual membership fee is £25 and that covers an entire club regardless of how many teams that club has.

If you think your club may be interested in becoming a member of Clubs for Young People (Scotland) please don’t hesitate to contact us through our website http://cypscotland.com/cypscotland/contact.htm or by email at Michael@cypscotland.com

Yours sincerely

Clubs for Young People (Scotland)
