Rugby Training is too Physical

IRB dude wrote:Rugby training sessions are too physical, IRB chief executive Mike Miller has told BBC Sport.
Talking at the Rugby Expo conference in London, the sport's most powerful figure said: "I think people need to look at how they train.
"Is there too much physicality in their training which then adds to physicality when you go out and play a match?
"I think the right balance isn't quite right there and we need to look at that," he added.
When asked if there was too much physicality in training sessions, Miller stated: "I think there probably is, yes. I couldn't point to one case. But people feel it's important to be physical in training because it toughens you up for the match."

what do you all think?

Oh no another social worker who has wormed his way into a position of authority before you know it, it will be played on a bouncy castle with balloons and no contact.

They who lack talent expect things to happen without effort. At the core of every true talent there is an awareness of the difficulties inherent in any achievement.
