Scotland v Wales - 6 Nations 2008
So, Rory Lamont is out, and Andy Henderson is cleared to play. What do you think the team should be?
15 Southwell
14 Walker
13 Webster
12 Henderson
11 Paterson
10 Parks
9 Blair
1 Jacobsen
2 Ford
3 Kerr
4 Hines
5 White
6 Hogg
8 Beattie
7 Barclay
Would put De Luca on the bench, showed promise but needs some more game time at this level.

Good to see Morrison on the bench, he really sure up the Glasgow back line when he came on against Saracens. Not sure about Hamilton, but all in all it doesn't seem *that bad* a team.

i think someone should be in for webster as he made more than a few mistakes against france one leading to the try! i also dont think kelly brown is a good choice for number8 as at this level it is a specialised skill and he doesnt play there for club so why country?beattie should be at number 8 and paterson is sensible at 15 as he can now do his kicking which gives parks less pressure so maybe he can play better
the backs were mince, yet the only change is enforced through injury.
the thought that the pack looked pedestrian and maybe he thinks that Kelly Brown gives us a bit more zing. I dunno. surely it can't go as badly as it did against the French, but going to cardiff off the back of a dispiriting defeat to play a buoyant welsh team could end up being another 20 point loss.

SCRUM HALF
is it just me, or does anyone else think, that irrespective of what one of our scrum half's start the game, the other one looks much better when he comes on? I prefer cusitor, but there is not much to choose between them. \i agree with teenwolf, backs were mince, but the ball was coming back so slowly. \did \jason White go off? He was nowhere to be seen? \or is that too harsh. \bring on Wales, it can't get any worse????
TACKLE - RUN - TACKLE - RUN.
RINSE AND REPEAT
RINSE AND REPEAT
as a scrum half myself i prefer cusitor as he likes to makes things different by attacking the fringes but the one of the main things is when he plays for scotland he keeps getting caught at the back of the rucks as he picks the ball up takes a step then he git caught instead of getting the ball away quickly from the ruck! but he is the more attackive 9 as his breaks are more commom!blair just does the easy stuff well but rarely attacks the fringes!i think lawson is good aswell tho as he attacks alot aswell! 3 good scrum halfs though! we should give each of them a chance lol!
blair has the best service and puts other people into gaps.
it doesn't matter who you play at scrummy if you play parks, cos he kicks when he should pass and passes when he should kick. he is great kicking the ball from hand but doesn't offer enough attacking the line, so we struggle to break down defences.
I think Godman should be there as he is a much more rounded rugby player. OK, when he kicks for the corner from penalties he might only get us 8 metres from the line as opposed to 5, but he can make space for the midfield backs with his running and distribution, parks doesn't have this ability.
