Dalziel Rugby Club

The P7 coaches and players would like to thank all those who supported the recent Burns Supper fund raiser, a great night was had by all and the amount raised, which the night was all about, was a princely sum of £660.

A special thanks to members of Cumbernauld Burns Club who entertained the company; The ladies who fed us; The staff at Dalziel Bolwing Club who kept the drink flowing and Mr Scottie Duguid who not only gave us a skirl of his pipes but also demonstrated a hidden talent as auctioneer.

I would just like to add that it really was a great night. Entertainment and food were first class. I'm still trying to help Martin get through a litre bottle of Grouse that he won in the raffle (hic).
