Four boys from the Dalziel S1 squad have already been picked for the Lanarkshire Lions following the recent North v South Schools game.

They are Cameron King (Dalziel HS), Callum McKay (St Andrews HS), Chris Mullin (Cardinal Newman HS) & Mark Gray (Clyde Valley HS)

There are still 14 squad places left to aim for and we hope to get more Dalziel Dragons into the Lions following the club trial on the 21st of April.

Roddy please pass on congratulations to the lads well done!
We've also got some lads already in the Glasgow Chiefs U 16's:
Fraser Joyce, Andy Scott, Ewan Watt, Ross Westwood and Matthew Crichton.
With an expectation that again more may be selected following their trials on the 28th of April I think.
Well done to all concerned....... lads and coaches.

Another 4 boys have been added to the S1 Lanarkshire Lions squad following Monday night's club trial;

Gordon Campbell, Ryan Gemmell, John Lowry & Conor Thomson

That makes it 8 out of a possible 30 for the Dalziel boys!

Games against Glasgow, Dunbartonshire & Ayrshire are planned.
