Under 16's Beat Annan U18's in Glasgow Youth Cup

Dalziel Under 16's beat a side of mixed U18's and U16's at Annan last Sunday. Whilst only scoring 12 points in the game, we could virtually have set up camp in the Annan half. They told us before the game that they were playing two U18's in the team, thereby fofeiting the game, but I think 2 was a slight under estimate.

Tries from Ian Avery and Neil Gracie didn't reflect our superiority and if we had made some final passes, we would have scored 30+ points. Still something to work on at training this week before we face Strathendrick at Dalziel Park

annan have a few of their u18's in their first team

The first two they played were a stand off and a second row. I would be amazed if they were 1st XV potential.

i was just stating that some of their u18's are very good!! i wouldnt of expected the good u18's that play for the 1sts to play you the day after
