Under15's Dalziel Festival Win
The Dalziel U15 side put up a great display on Saturday at the Festival, with some good free flowing rugby. The day started witha 3 try to nil win over the Italian side which set us up for a crack at West of Scotland. We had lost the last time we played them but made no mistake on Saturday taking the game to them from the outset to win by a comfortable 3 tries to nil. These two results set up the game against local rivals Hamilton who in recent festival games have posed us problems; however with a ruthless streak in the team on Saturday the boys produced another winning perfomance to win 5 tries to nil. All the games were well won and hopefully we can carry this form into next Sundays Festival at Hamilton. The next big game for the boys is a crack at the Scottish Champions Stirling County who visit Dalziel Park on Sunday 11th May. Details to follow on both games during the week.
