Guys please note that the very impressive 121 to nil score against Preston Lodge last Saturday is not as reported in the local press, our highest in club history. 8 years ago we defeated Cowal in a cup game by 136 to nil. To be fair though Cowal were of a lower standard :) :!:

I played in that game. I think I was the only person that didn't score.

Actually if I remember right Gillon did not score in the Cowel game either. I think he was the only one not to score.

In Gillons favour he did voulenteer leave the field to allow young Lee a place on the wing and allow him to score a marvelous try but to be fair Gillon never looked like scoring and I think that is why he feigned injury to get off!

Appologies CoV, however, as last week showed if you had been playing you wouldn't have scored anyway!!

The score against Cowel was impressive as we only played 30 minutes of the second half.

As one of the "old heeds" in the team i spent a lot of that game kicking the ball back to Cowal to give them possession and to waste some time - i got loads of abuse from the young bucks but the guy scotty hamilton was playing against must have been the year behind willie miller at school - fair play to those lads they stuck with it to the bitter end
