Folks

As you know we are playing in the Lanarkshire Cup Finals day at Cambuslang on Saturday 17th May. It appears we are the current holders of this trophy the last time it was played.

The cup has been resurected at the request of Cambuslang and 10 teams will be competing over a one day event by way of a fundraiser for a schoolboy seriously injured earlier in the season.

The Dalziel social committee would like this to be a fun day and the intention is that we have an end of season "team bonding" night which is likely to be a 2nd half clockwork orange again!! To make the day a fun one there is a dress code which is (1) a hat, (2) Hawiian Shirts and (3) Shorts!!

Further details will be announced when we decide!!

No idea about what times and who we play etc though mate.

There will be no beer. Its a drink free sport these days mate!

good chance it will be (at least) 4 from:

Cambuslang, Hamilton, Biggar, Waysiders, East Kilbride, Uddingston, Cumbernauld, Clydesdale, Strathaven.

Everyone up for the sub crawl???

Footlong, I'm well up for this sub crawl malarky! Just hope the forwards play fair this time, it should be a pint at each stop! And no kidnapping of the backs (young Dak is still traumatised after last year)!

just confirmin the dress code...is it hawaiian shirt and hawaiian shorts, or can it be 1 of the 2 with another normal item?. bonus points for best hat??

Will any shorts do? I'm sorted with the shirt. I have several and there my normal going out ones. Ha I may be struggling with a hat though - its ms big heed!

I bought some extra hats at the weekend, bowler hats with lads night out written on them.

Got an extra 4 so first come first served for anyone who wants one.....cost is a pint!!

Also, we should wear club ties with the Hawiian shirt....classy

And by the way, this will be Big G's last outing in his official capacity of club captain before he moves to the and of Guinness and leprechauns!! I say lets get him smashed
