They who lack talent expect things to happen without effort. At the core of every true talent there is an awareness of the difficulties inherent in any achievement.

Saturday 17th May

Hamilton win Lanarkshire Cup! Hamilton defeated Cambuslang this afternoon in the final of the reconstituted Lanarkshire cup competition which was played as a single day 15-a-side competition in aid of the Ciaran Pryce Appeal at Coats Park Cambuslang.

The home side beat Dalziel and Drumpellier/Waysiders to top pool 1 while Hamilton defeated East Kilbride 38-0 and Uddingston 33-0 to finish top of pool 2.

In a closely contested final the Bulls scored two early tries to lead 12-0 at half time but Cambuslang hit back after the break to close the gap to 12-5. Despite tremendous pressure the visitors held out to take the trophy back to Laigh Bent.

Well done to everyone involved. Pictures here
