Senior statistics 09/10

Post by niall » Mon May 10, 2010 1:02 pm

Les asked me to get stats for the fun day program. Some choice cuts:

first XV used 26 players this season, with 18 used in 18 or more games and 7 players playing all 26.
Seconds used 51 players, noone played all 24, Thirds used 58 players and the 3As used 34.

Lee, Les, Phillips and G all played for the first, seconds and thirds.

top try scorers for each team:
1sts: Simmo (18 )
2nds: Fuz (11)
3rds Lynchy (14)
3As: 4 players with 2 tries.

top 3 try scorers in the club:
1st: simmo (18 )
2nd: Vic, Lynchy (15)
3rd: Goldie, Rab (14)

overall points for senior club:
tries:335, convs:188, pens:47, drops:3, points: 2201, yellows: 20, reds: 1

More will be in the program on saturday, so you'll have to buy one to see them all :P

only 4 players who played a game for the firsts this season didn't score a try!
20 yellow cards handed out this season, 11 of them to the seconds, 5 to the firsts and the rest to the Dazzlers and 3As.

just giving them wee tasters, need to buy it on saturday to see them all.

Matt Brown and Steven Clowes played the most games without scoring!

Goldie narrowly pushes Simmo out on the best tries/game ratio (0.7 v 0.69), but not as good as Lynchy (1.0) or Dave Groot (1.5), though Dave did only play 4 games.

Originally Khalid had 30,000 hits in three years in the sponsorship booklet, and I then emailed back to mention to correct him!

Since the 1st June 2009 we've had the following:

Dalzielrugby.com: 115,110 visits and 792,932 page impressions
forums: 31,176 visits and 1,986,474 page impressions
Photos: 26,438 visits and 2,286,776 page impressions (almost 800,000 in the last three months!!)

during the season we were getting 11-13,000 visits a month (down at 4,000 over the summer) on the main site!

em, I'm not sure how much my main logs have, but certainly I can see the top 30 IPs for each month.

I know that i've had 107 "visits" in the last month, but it is my home page and i'm not sure what constitutes a visit.
