Shield Semi plus -want a good laugh???!!!

Post by scottiedug » Mon Mar 29, 2010 1:38 pm

Gentlemen-
re match at Fort Matilda on Saturday 3rd

Someone is about to lose their unbeaten record!!!!
Hopefully not Dalziel!! Wee cautionary note-
Greenock pumped the old Glasgow Accies by 41- 7 in early February........sooooooo!!!!!!!! We are

Scottie Dugweed
Ps if you were at the game on Sat in Glasgow and want to start the week with a good laugh- take a look at the Accies tear stained, full of excuses, somewhat ungracious comment on their comprehensive demolition by the Lads who once again made us all proud!Fantastic!!!Well Done Guys-keep it going on next Saturday!!!

Greenock don't have an unbeaten record - Lasswade beat them in the league. We are the only team in the SRU Premier and National leagues with an unbeaten record - so that said - no one is about to lose their unbeaten record.

Orkney are the only regional team with an unbeaten record, so here's hoping they lose sometime soon :)

I couldnt find it on the Accies web site - it hasn't been updated since before their game with RHC

sour grapes me thinks, but I suppose you have to put something encouraging up on your website even if you do lose.

it's very matter of fact though around them running out of steam and conceding 2 late tries. that's testiment to the fitness of the guys, so it's another facet of the game where they couldn't deal with Dalziel.

I think it may have been the same guy that wrote both the Langholm and Glasgow Accies match reports. Just makes it better that we humped them both. Good times.

i notice they only have 5 photos with the report, that's more than the number of attacks they had the entire game...

anyway, as an aside, I've started the long awaited upgrade of the site, and I'm going to add in a "what the other team said" section to the match reports :D
