I have 2 spare tickets if anyone needs them?

I'll check on here just before I head out in about 40 minutes.

Ceilidh Success

Post by spike » Tue Dec 29, 2009 9:04 pm

The Ceilidh was a great success, a massive thank you is due to Lee Charnley for his tremendous effort in getting around 300+ people there. Thanks are also due to all those who rallied round and boosted the numbers with a late flurry. Gordon and Micky the drunk raffleeer did a great job selling the raffle tickets and this made a big impact on profits.

I think the hall curtain made for a more atmospheric Ceilidh and everyone seemed to enjoy it, especially Mr. McKillop :-}

We look as if we have raised over 2,500 quid, which is a welcome boost to Club funds.

Once again, thanks to all who helped make the Ceildh yet another great success for the Club.
All that is necessary for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing.
