I spoke with my brother in law who lives in Riga. Seemingly you are going over when the big Midsummer holiday is on. It is a public holiday that weekend and should be pretty lively :-)

One thing he did say is that the police over there are very intolerant and prone to dishing out regular beatings on drunks and anyone that they take a dislike to, so bear this in mind, Brycie.

Thanks Spike , for the warning. Lets have a wail of a time over there but need to look after each other , especially if really pished. As an old saying goes "Let's be safe out there" and any auld yins can tell me where its from can have a prize !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really lookin forward to the Penthouse siute , but is it a twin or double. I sleep in the nude with a banana under my pillow btw Vic. Good times .

Hi All,

The Airport Transfers & Tour Guides for the Friday night have been Booked by Mr Bryce. Anyone still to fork out the £30 for this please do so asap.

Airport transfers are as Follows:

Fri - Airport pick up 15:45 - Hotel (25min Journey)
Sunday Club - Hotel 11:45 - Airport for 1300 (Flight at 1510)
Tuesday Group - Hotel 11:45 - Airport for 1300 (Flight at 1510)

Guides meet locatation to be confirmed, but will be from 8pm. Gives us 3 hours from arrival at hotel roughly to sort out things.

Sat nights activities are yet to be confirmed, but open to suggestions and also we were thinking about getting tour Rugby strips, is everyone up for this????

only one thing there that looks good to me and i thinks you guys may know which one im on about.......and i'm up for the rugby strips....or what about cheap t shirts with summit different on them for each day.....

My t-shirt would probably have the slogan of 'Prince of Pleasure', cause, I misheard a video game for Prince of Persia between Broony and Vic.:oops:

The bobsleigh looks rapid though but how I am going to stay awake during the day to do daytime activities, I have no idea but I am cool to try all the evening activities.

Hope is all is well after Saturday 20th....
