going on from what was mentioned last night at the AGM, does anyone have any good fundraising ideas?
I'm going to be developing an advertising module for the site (pay per click/month/etc) which should help, but probably won't bring in that much!
Other ideas i've seen elsewhere which shouldn't take too much man power are:
1) Lottery Bonus ball - everyone pays £1 to pick a number, if their number comes up, they get £20(ish), rest goes to club - can have more than one card so it brings in more than £30 a week!
2) Football sweepstakes - people pay £1 per entry and select home/away win or draw for a weekends SPL fixtures. 50p goes to club, other 50p goes to prize fund. You only win if you predict all 6 games correctly. No winners, it rolls over, multiple winners - pot is split.
could do other things like a sweep on 1st XV home games, £1 to pick who will score the first try and again half to club, half to winner (£18 each)
