Modern Apprenticeships

Post by Heed » Wed Feb 15, 2012 11:57 am

Hi folks, hope all is well.. Seen a notice in work(BAE Systems) today about the apprentice intake this year.. I'll post a link below where you can apply online..

http://baesystems.gti.co.uk/Candidate/R ... itions.asp

If you're application is succesful you will be invited in for some testing & a face to face interview..
The apprenticeship is 3 years long.. First year is college based, the following two are a mixture of college & working on site.

The work we do is building naval ships for the british navy.. Currently type 45 destroyers & aircraft carrier.. You may have seen pieces on this on the news/papers..

I completed an apprenticeship straight from school & have been working here for a total of 8.5 years now so the work is pretty secure.

If you have any questions or need some advice on filling in the application dont hesitate in contacting me via the forum or call me on my mobile..

If some of the u-16s - u-18s coaches want to pass this info onto their guys at training i'll be more than happy to help them as much as i can..

Cheers, Heed.
