Dalziel Rugby Club

On Saturday the Rugby Ready u18 lads joined the 3rds for a mixed friendly combining youth and experience, a good crowd gathered to watch a very entertaining match played in great spirit and sportsmanship. I know the u18 lads had a great time on the park and in the clubhouse after the match. They are all stepping up next year and it certainly will help them settle in by getting to know the senior players. I know we hope to have another match before the end of the season and this will help the lads settle in before the start of next season, and will also give the senior coaches a chance to see the quality of player moving up. The lads also want to thank Wee Davie for the refreshments after the match.

The three U16 players that took part in the game really enjoyed the experience and were made welcome by the U18 squad after the game. Thanks Tam & Henry

The future of Dalziel would appear to be in good hands; a very entertaining game and a great intro. for the U-18/16s to adult (ish) Rugby!!

Not a problem Henry the Dazzlers are looking forward to another game hopefully we can make this a regular game during every season.
