Bus will leave at 10 am from Civic for a 2 pm KO at PL. Plenty of time for a warm up (Both kinds). The bus will not be coming back but can drop off anyone not going to the game at Edinburgh Waverley.

I will be at training tomorrow (Tuesday) Bring money for tickets 10.00 Students, 20.00 non students. The total cost of the bus will depend on numbers going and refunds from the SRU but should not exceed ten quid and probably be a lot less.

I need confirmed numbers as soon as poss to order the tickets for the game.

Arrangements for DL PL

Post by spike » Mon Nov 16, 2009 6:05 pm

I will not be there on Tuesday - Sorry

Here are the details for Saturday:

Mini Bus will be leaving Civic Centre at 11:30 for a 1:30 KO at PL. Bus will take us to Murrayfield around 4:00 pm for a 5:30 KO and then pick us up in the Grassmarket at 10:30'ish

The other 1st XV players not going on the bus will be going in cars, those playing should go with the team for the warm up etc and join the rest of the alickadoos after the game. Cost of the bus for those playing is £5.

The list of people on the bus are as follows:

Gordon Turnbull
Barry Turnbull
Kris Watters
Antony Mitchell
Duncan Morton
Andy Hill + 2
Paul Gracie
Drew Moonie
Robert Simpson (staying in Edinburgh)
John Goldie
Broony (?)

13 people - Vic, Gillon and Fuzzy suggested they might join us, but I need to know asap as it is a 16 seater bus. Tickets are £20/10 and the bus is £8 but there may be a rebate here too.

Please confirm that you are definitely going.

Problem - Bus Has Been Cancelled

Post by spike » Tue Nov 17, 2009 1:32 pm

Sorry to disappoint everyone but the bus company have been unable to get a driver and the two other mini bus companies I have tried are very expensive.

I am afraid I am going to have to cancel this trip. Please let others know. If you still want a ticket for the Scotland game, its probably easiest to login to https://www.eticketing.co.uk/scottishrugby/default.aspx.

I can only apologise for this but unfortunately I can't get a resolution in time. One other option is to take the train, a train leaves Motherwell at 10:42 and gets to Prestonpans at 1:18 just in time for kick off. An open return is available at £19.30.

Let me know what you want to do. I am in London until Thursday but picking up emails and logging in.
