Hawick YM have pulled out of the sheild cos they can't raise a team for their game tomorrow against Hawks!?!?! Yet they're still taking part in the berwick 7's this saturday! :?

thats crap.....even if we got to play hawks i would still miss it....even more gutted :cry: lol

Hopefully the Cup Committee will take a similar dim view of this poor attitude and ban them from cup competitions for, at least, a couple of years.

why even play us if they had no intention of playing hawks? thats frustrating...no chance we could get re- enterd into the competition to play them??

hopefull the SRU get wise to this and start laying down sanctions to teams putting 7s commitments above league and cup. I believe Langholm had a game postponed last week because they were playing in the Melrose 7s!
