Dalziel 1st XV 49 RHC 10

Post by Dalziel PostBot » Mon Mar 16, 2009 9:50 am

This was by far Dalziels most emphatic and convincing win of the season. They scored eight tries four in each half and in doing so gained a valuable bonus point which now sees them sitting third in the league nine points behind second placed Dumfries but Dalziel have a game in hand.

Royal High Corstorphone (RHC) beat Dalziel at Dalziel Park this season and Barnton has not always been a happy hunting ground for Dalziel in recent seasons, so it was with some trepidation that they travelled to play RHC.

I think there is some confusion here on Tally Snr's part. The ref has put the score in at 46-10 to us and Jimmy also said we only scored 7 tries when a spoke to him. I might be wrong tho.

A though we scored 7 tries = 35 points
A pen = 38 points
and 4 Conversions = 46.

Tally Snr surely I never missed 5 conversions? I missed 3 in the first half but dnt think I missed 2 in the second half. Could be wrong though.

I the squad is correct. I don't know then. I was just going by what I could piece together from playing. Though I am positive I got more that 3 conversions.
