With this victory Royal High Corstorphine moved into third place in National League one whilst Dalziel moved down to fifth five points behind the Edinburgh side. Dalziel had plenty of opportunities, particularly in the first half, to put the game beyond the reach of RHC but a combination of poor finishing and a lack of concentration again let Dalziel down not for the first time this season. This was a match that Dalziel could have and should have won.
