With the previous weeks match against Edinburgh University being rained off a scouting party from Dalziel made the short trip to East Kilbride who were hosting the league leaders Howe of Fife. EK were unlucky to lose 22 - 10 but the Dalziel scouts saw enough of Howe to give them some hope as they travelled to Cupar in Fife for the first time in a number of years. Many former Dalziel players will have happy memories of visiting Duffus Park in the mid 70s and 80s but Saturday`s players will have memories of how they brought Christmas early to Cupar by providing gifts by way of four tries to Howe.
