Dalziel travelled to Dumfries on Saturday knowing that a win could see them go second top of National Division 1.

Torrential rain accompanied the team on the bus journey south and on arrival at Park Farm it was obvious that it was going to be a tough afternoon with a gale force wind and driving rain greeting the visitors.

70 METERS Don't think so. We will give you 45 meters Mr Hillkinson. Still, what a kick to win the game bro!

It's been proven on several occasions that Barry is a compulsive liar.

Andy is def being modest, as is his nature.

The only truly balanced and non biased version of events is our ever accurate match report.

Thus i'd have to believe that the penalty was infact converted from 70 metres. Some folk actually say that it was struck from inside a wee granny's garden in Dundrenan. The legend grows arms and legs even as we speak.

As we speak, in a dark, dingy pub somewhere in Dumfries, the legend grows. The locals talk of a man; 8 foot tall and with hands the size of shovels, feet so big that he plays rugby barefoot as he can't get boots big enough for toes that are made of solid gold and some say that he has a flash of red hair the same colour as satan's pit. They are so in fear of this legend that only the bravest of the brave whisper his name.

He goes by the name of Andy Hill.

I'd heard it was taken from inside our own half at Dalziel Park!

Some say he's half man, half fish!!
Others say its more of a 70 / 30 split!

What ever he is, he's 1 fishy bar-steward!!!

Through the millenia he has been known by many names.

Hercules, Hannibal, Huckelberry Finn, Ann Boleyn, Joan of Arc, Marky Mark, Joan Jett, Marie Antoinette, Anne Frank and Paul Frank.

He was born, nay spawned, in the depths of hades itself (aka Larkhall)with the sole purpose of bringing death from the heavens onto the enemies of the ancient gods. Over the millenia there has been less call for this, thus he has sought out other quests equal to his god given gifts.

The legend will never die!
