Both teams are meeting at 12.30pm. Travel is by car. If you are unable to play, let vic or Mathie know asap. If your name is not shown, turn up and you will travel with the 2nd XV to Strathendrick.

Are they right?

I'll rock up to the civic anyway at half 12.

Congratulations to Ross Donnachie making his debut in the 1st XV squad this weekend ......another 16 year old breaking through alongside John Harris from the tail end of last season.....great to see.

Equally good luck to the 9 other lads from last years' U18's selected for the 2nd XV squad. Hope you all have a great day.

That makes 11 lads getting senior experience this weekend, which I'm sure will improve competition for places and equally if/when back playing for the U 18's during league games will add to the U 18's performance.

Lets make it a winning start for both squads.

The 2nds put in a good performance against a more experienced strathendrick team. Well done to the young guys playing for the 2nds for the first time.
Need to play more with the top 2 inches. More talk, more support, more confidence, more belief required but overall a very good start. Plenty to work on.
See you at Cartha on Tuesday.
