Scottish Bowl Quarter Final

Post by Dalziel PostBot » Wed Apr 02, 2008 11:25 am

Remember that the 1st XV are playing Strathendrick in the Scottish Bowl Quarter Finals this Saturday. The kick-off is at 3pm and it would be good to get a large support behind the team. We're only 2 wins away from Murrayfield, so it promises to be a good game!

I might be wrong here, but I heard that the bonus for teams in the finals is that the get to keep ticket money for any sold by the club. Apparantly Falkirk made £10k last year.

So if we should make it to the finals, the tickets should be bought from the club!!

in general how much are the tickets.

we could maybe even buy some new baws and shields if we had that sort of cash.

last years prices were £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

edit: meant to say, Khalid, you're correct, according to the article on the SRU website that I got those prices, Colin Thomson says that the clubs get to keep their own money.

Guys, no one should get over excited or underestimate the opposition you have 2 teams to beat you can do it but maintain your focus on one match at a time good luck as someone once said "you make your own luck in this game"
