They said they could not play on Saturday then we arranged game for Friday night after a lot of effort from certain club members then they conceded the tie. :(

They who lack talent expect things to happen without effort. At the core of every true talent there is an awareness of the difficulties inherent in any achievement.

should really be some sort of youth development clause for clubs to be promoted to Prem one and two, shocking that a prem 2 team like Whitecraigs can't put out its own 18s team.

you are being a wee bit hard on them, Niall. They have a number of boys away at a Duke of Edinburgh event. Happens all the way through midi section but seems to get worse at under 18's as they have so many other competing interests, exams, jobs, wine and wummin !

But the fact that they can't put out their own 18s without the help of another club is still disgraceful! Same with EK, cambus, ardrossan, Edinburgh accies, etc

Its a trend all across the west of scotland and not just at under 18 level. In fact the west region youth committee are looking at encouraging a number of clubs to put together barbarian teams. At least that way boys still get a game of rugby.

Not all clubs have as strong as mini and midi section as we do unfortunately.
