ITINERARY
6th June 2011: Train: To arrive at the desired time it’s looking like an early, early start...5.30am from Central Station
Cost: £12.10
Arrive: 9.54am
Start walking no later than 10 am
We will look at other options aswell.
6th June 2011: Fort William - Kinlochleven (16 miles)
7th June 2011: Kinlochleven – Bridge of Orchy (21 miles)
Everyone will start from Kinlochleven. On this leg we pass through Kingshouse and Inveroran but unfortunately, there is no accommodation so this will be the longest leg of the walk...well for some of us. Connor, however, will be walking to Kingshouse (10 miles) and then will bus it to Bridge of Orchy. The 11 mile deficit will be done prior to starting the WHW on his treadmill at home.
8th June 2011: Bridge of Orchy - Crianlairch (13 miles)
9th June 2011: Crianlairch - Inversnaid (13 miles)
Accommodation at Inversnaid is a little off the beaten track but they provide a free pick-up service from the WHW. Plus it will all be worth it for the HOT TUB!!!!!!
10th June 2011: Inversnaid - Balmaha (14 miles)
11th June 2011: Balmaha – Drymen (8 miles)
This is the shortest leg and you’d think would be a doddle but it includes climbing Chonic Hill. Although, depending on how we are feeling, we can make the most of our short walk by taking advantage of the range of water sports available at Balmaha before we set off on our walk.
‘All walk and no play, makes Connor a dull boy’...not to mention very painful at this point.
12th June 2011: Drymen – Milngavie (12 miles)
Homeward bound!

Folks, Eilidh (Cartha physio) and Conner (the recovering player) will be at Dalziel for our game tomorrow afternoon. Afterwards there will be a short meeting to provide details of the walk to anybody interested probably in the Dragons Den.
