Khalid has mooted the idea of a club tour for summer 2012 (possibly) to somewhere like North America. Who is interested in this? If we can get the numbers to commit to this then more information will become available. Post on this thread or speak to Khalid about it.

To finance it we would be looking at those going to be putting roughly £25 away a month, but this can be confirmed once numbers a...

Great minds and all that....I've been mooting a tour to some of the lads for the last few weeks...even asked Paton to look at Gibraltar as a potential destination, but NA would be much better! Lets capitalise on the momentum....

Evening..
As some of you know I lived in america for a few years, and rugby is really taking off over there..
It would be really suited to a tour, because all the rugby is tournament/festival style and always incorporate a massive social event..
I've played in a few of these tournaments and they vary in standard from nationaly ranked to social rugby, and the mens and womans tournaments normally run side by side..
The tournaments I played in were around easter time, the american 'spring break' period and are held in the mid-west, usually Nashville TN and Carbondale IL.
I'll probably be living out in the states by the time this tour comes around, and will be playing with a club in either Indiana or Kansas, so would be happy to help with any of the organising..
