After a few hours of fighting with the Database (why is it test installations work fine but the final product never does?!) I've update the website code.



On the whole the site acts the same, but the way content on the main site is rendered is slightly different. If you come across a page that looks like this:

Nice look to it Niall ...good job.
You'll need to re train me I'm afraid on the finer points of access.
In the meantime could I ask if you'll have a banner/location for showing the main club Sponsors, including, (let's hope Sportsscotland)?
Also once you get a chance (and I know you're busy so no pressure) could you put up the List of Club award winners please?

yeh, there are four spots for adverts on the main site, but they aren't in the database yet (nor have I made images up for them) so thats why they aren't there.

Will fire that list up later on!

Kudos Niall - the site is top-notch. You've managed to keep it's navigation very straightforward and inline with the first version, but the improvements are really good. Love the stats. Great to play with for us saddos who like to know who scored tries and when they last pulled on a jersey or played more than a few games in a season. the integrated calendar is also very useful linking up the social and playing side of the club! smashin.

What Eddie said and more !!!! Fantastic stuff Niall.

Just thought while looking through it, could we have pictures of the committee members ? Might help the coaches/parents from the mini/midi sections to recognise or find people they might not know.

Come to that... could we get photos of all the coaches at the various age levels so that the committee members know who everyone is in the club? Niall you'll recall we talked about maybe doing this at the Festival? Think this would be a good way of fostering the 'club' togetherness and enhance better communication.

A good idea, especially in a club of our size. A "Who's - who" of the club would be very handy.
