The annual Dalziel golf masters takes place this Friday at Royal Carnwath. The bus will leave the civic at 7am SHARP. You MUST have confirmed your attendance with Mafie or Les Scott. Carnwath have a strict dress code on and off the course. Shirts must have a collar and denims are not allowed either on the course or in the clubhouse. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us. My old man is attending, with Grunter caddying for him...

So is the format:

a bite to eat on arrival

a round in the morning

a bit of lunch

a round in the afternoon

a few refreshments at the 19th hole

hame

arrive to coffee and I think a roll
18 holes ( individual score )
soup and then a couple of rolls
18 holes ( texas scramble team event )
dinner and cakes
prizes and bevvy in clubhouse
bus home with singing (spike has a new song)
various pubs and disco's in north lanarkshire
bed

BTW No JEANS doesn't mean no breeks at all. Carnwath have a strict dress code, shorts are fine, if they are tailored or dress shorts, ie nae fitba shorts or swimming trunks, players and caddies.

Polo shirts or golf gear - nae grateful dead or "Sluts are people too..." T Shirts.

If your not at the Civic for 7 the bus goes without you. First tee off time is 8:30 or earlier if possible.

boys, my sincere apologies. Les was talking into my bad ear when he told me the cost. The golf day at Carnwath and bus will cost £60. This will leave the young team more money for extra lager shandys.

Its 5pm an phishing doon in Livingston.......makes no odds to a hacker like me but those of you practacing for weeks won't be use to the wet conditions....hehe
