Dalziel 1st XV completed a perfect league season with another high scoring win at Ellon on Saturday. Dalziel ran out worthy winners by 44 points to 3 to finish the league on 103 points and an average score of 44 points for and 7 against.
The National 1 League winners trophy will be presented next Saturday at 12:30 at the Youth Festival.
The 3rd XV had a close run thing with Allan Glens 2nds, losing out by 19 points to 15.
It was another disappointing day for the 2nds as, yet another Premier team failed to raise a team with Kirkcaldy calling off at 10 am on Saturday morning. Our thanks go to them for wasting our guys day. If they had called off earlier the guys could have made the bus to Ellon and celebrated in style.
