Dalziel arrived at Annanâ€™s Violet Park intent on winning the league title. On a pleasant spring evening they set about the task in hand encouraged by the travelling support.

From the kick off Dalziel mounted pressure on the Annan defence and on 10 minutes were rewarded when Robert Simpson kicked behind the Annan defence for Fraser Duguid to score. Simpson converted and Dalziel were 7 points ahead.

Absolutely superb work lads!!! Heartiest congratulations to all involved. It's been a pleasure watching all season; and all at Dalziel can walk tall..even myself and I'm only 5' 4" but helluva sexy!!
