Dalziel 2nds win away at Currie

Post by Dalziel PostBot » Wed Apr 21, 2010 9:11 pm

The 2nd team produced a magnificent display this evening to defeat Currie 2nds 33-5 away in what must be the best 2nd team result in recent history. The forwards were dominant throughout and the backs ran at pace with depth every time they had the ball. Excellent continuity and support play rugby saw Dalziel score 5 tries to secure a famous bonus point victory.
Well done to everyone concerned, especially the players who have been brilliant the entire season. Well done lads!

im still laughing at Ted's chants in the scrum. At one point i think a 7 dwarf's 'Hi Ho, Hi Ho' chant started or is that just my mind playing tricks on me?

Superb result guys.

Great game guys, at times it was like watching the firsts against Murrayfield Wanderers. Mekels try was a superbly worked move straight off the training field and the 20 metre push over try showed the dominance we had up front.

Once again, a clear indication of how the investment in youth rugby pays dividends all through the Club as the majority of the players on the pitch last night were guys who came through the youth system.

Excellent victory guys! Not just the score but also the manner in which the score was achieved! According to Currie's website, last nites result was... Currie 0 v Dalziel 0.

A tremendous victory guys but it doesn't mean anything if we don't beat Kirkcaldy next Saturday. See you all at training on Tuesday night. Two more weeks of hard work before we can really let our hair down.

Great results guys. !! Couldn't be there as I was at EK where 11 S2 boys were at the Lanarkshire trials who all performed very well too.

It was a joy to watch, superb rugby. Our tactics really gave them problems, totally outthought them :D
