From the kick off it was obvious that Dalziel were out to dominate the game and within 5 minutes Gillon Duguid but in a good kick, benefited from...Read More

well done

All this confusion over who scored. Lets keep it up. Great result guys. Good effort to all who played. Congrats Fuz 4 tries for 1st XV , had a look at old results and not been done since Scott Hamilton scored 4 against Cowal and only twice before in last 21 years. Has been equalled and beaten in lower xvs , think Simpo got 6 against Cambuslang 3rds a few years ago. 103 -5 . Great year to all XVs keep it up.

I love this stats obsession cammy! 8)

Niall - get all cammy's stuff compiled so we can look at the olden days and see who's the top scorer and points scorers, etc.

amazin feat from Fuz, the most unexpected duguid to pull-off an individual tryfest. With all of fuz's scores converted, we'd have still won with a bonus point!!!!

I have it on good authority that Scotty had Fuzz out in the back garden showing him the famous Duguid snake hips and side step on Saturday morning. It certainly worked a treat.

Bannana skin

Post by bigmancammy » Wed Apr 21, 2010 1:15 am

Hey guys , seems like I stepped on the proverbial bannana skin......whilst looking at who scored 4 tries I should have looked closer to home to start. Vic got 4 in our rout of PL. So apologies to Vic. So thats 5 times someone has scored 4 tries for 1sts in last 21 years. Fuz last week 79-25 Livingston. Vic PL 121-0 Scott Hamilton Cowal 147-0(sep 02) and me twice Plymouth YM 55-5 (apr 93) and Uddingston 6-28 ( apr91). Kenny McRoberts got 5 against Lanark in 2XV game W 5-31 Did notice tho that Paul White currently in 2xv did score 5 tries against Hamilton U18's 0-46(nov 97). Eddy have most of results for 1sts tho 2nds, 3rds more sporadic. They are all in books etc and all over the place , but will compile a list and give it to Niall. Did notice that you got over the whitewash quite a few times when in U18's tho Grunter seems to have won try scoring battle in your family 3 against Cambuslang U18 (nov 96) tho you got one that day. Cheers

ha ah - aye what happened to my try scoring touch??

grunter still get's on the score sheet regularly, when he's playing.

In the last 3 years I've had 6 tries, grunter's only had 5 - that said the gruntmeister has only made 16 appearances to my 43!
