A superb defensive display saw Dalziel 1st XV extend their lead at the top of National Division 1 to six points.
Turning a half time 13 points to six deficit, Dalziel finally won by 16 points to 13 over second placed Whitecraigs.
The Second XV, although they led by 12 points to nil lost out to a well drilled Currie side, by 34 points to 12.
The 3rd XV also stayed top of their division with a bonus point 46 points to 19 win over Waysiders Drumpellier.
Davie also managed to get the 3a team out this weekend, another great effort from all involved, and they scored another win in a high scoring match against Garnock, running out victors in a 36 points to 28 win.
With this type of form, we could be candidates for Club of the Month in October as well as September.
