Dalziel last played Linlithgow in an epic Scottish Cup Shield semi final two seasons ago and won a hard fought match. The match last Saturday was equally hard fought with Dalziel just edging it. In fact for the last five minutes the game was played within the Dalziel twenty two metre area with Linlithgow throwing everything at Dalziel and despite giving away three successive penalties Dalziels defence was not breached and they came away with the four ponts and an excellent away victory.
