With their new artificial pitch at Murrayfield still not having an International Board clearance certificate this rearranged match was played on the small public park at Inverleith in the heart of Scotland’s capital.

A new referee was in charge. Cammy Mather the ex Scotland and Glasgow Warriors wing forward is being fast tracked by the SRU and he had an excellent match despite yellow carding two Dalziel players.

Brilliant result away from home to stuffy opposition. Well done lads. good to see the strength in depth maybe starting to materialise. With this kind of attitude... bring them all on.... bodes really well.

Yesterday afternoon it was the physicality of Dalziel that won it. Especially when we were down to 13 players. Great attitude and great application from everyone. Gillon's tackle count must have been in the high teens - great stuff!

We're still in the promotion race - lets take this on to Tuesday and Thursday night and then put in an even better display against EK on Saturday!!
